7. Don’t charge the phone overnight

Many of us leave our smartphones for charging overnight. Keeping the smartphone on charge overnight affects the efficiency of the battery in the long run and it also heats up the device. There have been cases where smartphone batteries have exploded due to overcharging.

8. Enable WiFi or data only when required

This is important for all users who are doing a lot of multi-tasking on the smartphones. Usually, the 2G signals are stronger and phone need to do less work while searching for it. For extended battery life and performance keep your phone on 2G if possible. Turn On Wi-Fi or data connection whenever required, it will reduce the load on the smartphone processor and will help it to cool down faster.
