A well-established older site with a big number of inbound links is an ideal candidate for search engine optimisation (SEO).
Spending money on sponsored advertising makes sense when you’re already affluent and your firm is well-established. When your website is spanking new, what do you do? The question is, how are you going to get them to come?
In this article, I’ll explain how to get the most people to a new website as quickly as possible. I’m curious how many of you just started a brand new website. I’m curious because I’d like to see how these strategies are implemented on a new website if you do.
The first method I suggest is working with other content creators. What about teaming up with another blogger to write blog posts? As a result, all the locations where I want to visit and work with people on comparable projects will be included here. We may cooperate on a webinar or podcast as an example. In the future, we may even publish roundup articles. We may even interview additional people.
Collaboration with other content creators will lead to a mutually beneficial promotion of each other’s output. You gain greater attention if people share it on their favourite social media channel. Even while not all professionals are willing to share their knowledge, many wills if you ask politely. I’m referring to an additional 30 to 40 per cent.
Promotions, giveaways, and competitions. Consider reaching out to other websites in your industry and offering them something of value to their audience; they will help spread the word. When they do, you will see an increase in traffic. Giveaways have shown to be very successful.
When you gather email addresses from individuals who enter your contests, be sure to save them. If you acquire their email addresses and then release blog articles, new features, or material, you can always contact them to entice them back to your site.
The other option is that you create your own product and promote it on your blog and through social media. This is probably my favourite option to make money. The idea here is to create a product and then use that product to promote your blog. For example, if you create a 30-day nutrition plan, you can promote it to help people lose weight. This has the added benefit of attracting new readers to your blog, and it can be done with some simple tools like a spreadsheet or Google Docs.
Push notifications are the most straightforward way to ensure a continuous rise in traffic. Here are some things to think about. Think about it: Are they likely to return to your site if they’ve already been there? It’s probably not going to happen. Consult Google Analytics if you have any doubts. Individuals’ return rates are detailed in a cohort report provided.
A mere 1% of your audience will return three months after the event. When you use push notifications, you don’t need to ask for an email address or any other personal information from your subscribers; instead, you can send them a message whenever you release new material or features and immediately draw them back to your site. Subscribers, subscribers.com, is a good place to start.
The fourth thing you want to do is pay for advertisements. Additionally, you may not have a large budget; this is OK. Did you know that Google AdWords often gives you a free $50 or $100 ad spend? If you don’t trust me, do a Google search.
You’ll discover a plethora of similar deals and discounts. You may utilise it to get started; it will provide an immediate boost to your visitors. True, those visits may not convert into customers due to a lack of time to execute the most effective ads, but it’s a start. Test it; you’ll see an immediate increase in traffic. And do you know what else? If you generate any sales, you may continue to do so indefinitely.
My sixth suggestion is guest blogging. Contact some of the most popular guest bloggers. I’ll call my pal Jason, for example, if he writes for Forbes. I’ll contact him and say, “I’m a great admirer of your work and what you’re doing,” Jason added. Then I’d make comments and build rapport with him. Giving Jason and other guest writers criticism, showing them how to improve, and even proposing subjects will help you build rapport.
When you approach them after a few weeks or months, you say, “Hey, I want to follow in your footsteps and write for Forbes or Huffington Post,” or whatever it is, you’ll get an introduction from an editor who already writes, which technically means you’ll get an introduction from an author who writes to an editor. Then, when you write for them, make sure any links to your site are no-follow. That’s not link building. You are not manipulating search engines when you link to your site and do not follow it.
Finally, I’d like to suggest that you comment on other blogs in your sector. Now, when I suggest remarking on one of these sites, I’m not just saying, “Nice content!” “Excellent work!” I’m referring to leaving comprehensive comments that offer feedback to readers. Now, when you make a remark, and people get all of this advice and criticism from you, you’ll see that it requests your name, URL, and comment.
You know what to do in the comments section. Your surname is your surname. Your URL should match your website’s. As more people read and respond to your comments, more people will visit your site, increasing your traffic. Do you know Mashable?
