Microsoft teams currently have 145 million engaged customers worldwide via online work and learning in the midst of the unfolding pandemic, nearly double the amount a year earlier, CEO Satya Nadella said.

More than 300 new features in teams have been introduced to the enterprise in the past year, including over 100 new features up to 2021. New and inclusive hybrid work meetings, including custom gallery views, enable anyone, whether at home, in a conference space, an office, or a factory level, to be viewed, heard, and participated.
“Customers including GM and Sanofi use cohesive voice contact teams. Teams expand beyond messaging to create a whole new field of digital collaboration software, because companies design custom software, bots, and workflows within teams across the Power platform,” Nadella said.
“We also added resources for collaborative workplaces for individuals outside the organisation and have seen teams that use anything from virtual store exhibition rooms and shopping via immersive webinars.”
Microsoft’s competing team, Zoom, revealed 300 million participants a day last year while Google said that it had 100 million participants in its Meeting App every day.
